Milford Haven Carnival 2008
On behalf of Milford Haven Round Table, we would like to announce that the annual Milford Haven Carnival will
take place on Saturday 5th July 2008.
The procession will commence at approximately 13:00 from Waterloo Square, Hakin culminating at the Carnival Field at Milford Haven Foorball Club, Marble Hall Road. The route will follow the shorter route as used in 2007, from Waterloo Square the route will proceed down St. Annes Road, along Hakin Bridge, Hamilton Terrace and North Road turning left into Marble Hall Road onwards on to Milford Haven Football Club.
There will be a wide array of marching bands in the procession as well as an exciting display of attractions in the Carnival Field arena.
The prize money for this years Carnival is the overall winner will receive £1,000 with £500 and £250 being paid for 2nd and 3rd places respectively. For all other Carnival procession entries there will be a guaranteed £100 to assist them with preparation costs. The prize money and £100 financial contribution will apply to vehicular floats and to walking (non vehicular) entries which have 15 or more participants.
There is an "open" theme for this years Carnival, which should give a considerable amount of scope for imagination and creativity.
