1km Hard surface but many patches have deteriorated with age. Overgrown in places buth the path is easy to follow. Route starts level then climbs quicky. Final section steep. Entire route is uphill.
 
Path Take the path across the beach lawns 885/057. Cross to the Scout Hut and follow path on wooded side of this building, Approximately 100m after the Scout Hut path becomes a peasant country walk. Eventually it appears to turn back on itself, it becomes steep and exits next to the Haven Drive recreational area.887/059. Walkers starting from Haven Drive should look for a footpath near house number 105. Take this path, then turn right at the T junction and youu will see the entrance to the Recreational Area. When you face the entrance gates, you will see a path running down each side of the play area. Ignore the tarmac path on the left and take the grassy path on the right.
