Main circle about 2km. Various access points some extending route by 500m each way. Can be very boggy. Parts of main route suffer from tidal flooding. Areas prone to being extremely muddy. Suitable footwear advised. Route can sometimes be difficult to follow.   Access Points Black Bridge 916/061 - part of the path. Obvious dirt road on Waterston side of the pill. On Milford Side of Pill at the end of the bridges railings, a narrow path heading inland. Steynton Road 913/069 - look for green area between Mount Pleasant Way and Bunkers Hill. You join the circular route after about 500m. Route can get very wet. Castle Pill Road 918/072 - Continue down Castle Pill Lane until the tarmac runs out. After descending to the Pill, pick up the circular trail.   Circular Path Start from the Milford end of Black Bridge. 916/061. Squeeze past the last section of railings on the Milford inshore edge of the bridge and follow the path through the woods above Castle Pill. Keep progressing with the Pill on your right (quite often the path is out of sight of the pill). Eventually you will be able to turn right, clearing the tip of the pill. You should pick up a definite track and the going gets a lot easier. Stay on the track (generally the main track is always the right turn option). Eventually you return to the other end of Black Bridge.
