Milford Haven Coast Path

Hakin Point to Gelliswick Bay
Comment
2km. Tarmac path, one slope, some steps, 100m of shale beach, road / footpath. Choice of elevated walkway with many steps or direct route with no steps. Final stage is road then footpath, set of steps, steep hill to level beach.

The Path
From Hakin Point 091/054 follow sea wall away from the dock entrance. Locate the Kings Arms and take the path next to it (clearly marked No Cycling.) Eventually this path maks a sharp right turn with a low brick wall on the left.

Alternative 1
Avoiding Elevated Walkway

Turn right and follow main path until it becomes a lane. This leads to Picton Road. 895/056

Alternative 2
Elevated Walkway

Descend the steps hidden behind the low brick wall. Follow the elevated walkway built into the sea wall. Continue along the beach and step up and through the open archway. Ascend the path which becomes a lane. This leads to Picton Road. 895/056

Turn left and pass Hakin CP School. Take the track straight ahead which leads to a flight of steps. Turn left down the hill to Gelliswick Bay 888/056. (Free parking available.)
