0.7km, road through commercial dock
This short section is included to link up two very pleasant sections of the coast path. The last few hundred metres is down a lane with a cliff on one side and the back of dock buildings on the other. The start gives an interesting view of a working fishing port. A track has been painted along much of the route, this is the recommended route - (this is a working area.) The start of the section passes some interesting buildings including a seal hospital, play area, college and a fish market.

 
The Path
From the parking below Victoria Bridge (the road bridge next to Tesco)899/061 walk, keeping the docks on your left, until you reach the Phoenix Bowl. Take the road to the right of the Bowl (to avoid a busy working quay) until you see the main Haven waterway. This leads to Hakin Point 091/054. (The short cut across the ock gates also leads to Hakin Point.)
