0.5km, mud path
This short section is best taken at high tide because it offers excellent views of Castle Pill. Roadside parking in Vicary Crescent is possible and tide permitting there is some parking at the base of Beach Hill. (This parking floods at high tide!)
 
The Path
Starting half way down Beach Hill 912/057 pick up the path and follow it. It runs high above the pill offering excellent views. (At low tide it only offers views of a muddy creek.) The path exits at the end of a tarmac cycleway. 912/055The roadside parking in Vicary Crescent is on your right.
