- The shop can only open for only for 6 consecutive hours between 10:00 and 18:00
- Popular opening hour choices include 10:00-16:00, 10:30-16:30 and 11:00-17:00
- A store can open its doors 30 minutes early (for browsing) but must not accept any payments until the official opening time
- Stores can open on the remaining Bank Holidays but many choose to close. Many stores will close on Boxing Day and New Years Day.
- Small Shops in England and Wales
- Sunday Trading restrictions do not normally apply to small shops
